Photo composite #1

In my recent project, I combined an image of the principal of Salinas High with a fantastical scene of my principle riding a red dragon that breathes flames. This juxtaposition emphasizes the blend of authority and imagination. Using Adobe Photoshop, I employed tools like selection and mask, the pen tool, generative AI, and the eraser to create a seamless integration of these elements. The final piece turned out dynamic and adventurous, highlighting the playful side of leadership. This experience not only improved my Photoshop skills but also taught me the power of experimentation in merging reality with fantasy.

In my latest piece, I combined a vibrant sunset in Bikini Bottom with a photo of my friends and me. This fusion was inspired by a lively conversation about how magical it would be to see that sunset underwater.

Using Photoshop, I removed our background with AI tools and adjusted the image for a seamless fit. The final piece captures the warmth of friendship alongside the whimsical charm of Bikini Bottom.

Through this process, I learned the importance of patience and the time required to refine an artwork, highlighting that the journey is just as valuable as the final result.

My movie poster concept emerged from a collaborative process with the client. By carefully considering their desires and brainstorming ideas, I pieced together a design that aligned with their vision.

I utilized tools like the gradient and masking tools, focusing particularly on layering and the title to create a striking visual impact. I was pleasantly surprised by the final product, which exceeded my expectations. I'm proud of how effectively I used these tools to craft a polished piece.

One challenge I faced was achieving the right fade for the figures using the gradient tool. If I had more time, I would refine these fades to enhance the overall composition. This experience has taught me the importance of collaboration and continuous improvement in design.

I chose King Von as my role model because of his incredible drive and authenticity. His dedication to his craft inspires me, as he put in countless hours to perfect his music, reflecting a mindset that resonates deeply with my own aspirations.

One quote from him stands out for its profound connection to his life experiences. It showcases his ability to transform his struggles into powerful music, making his songs meaningful. This authenticity is what makes his work so meaningful to me.

In designing my magazine cover, I used my Photoshop skills, drawing inspiration from various layouts. I employed masking and text boxes, sizing different things, choosing bold black text to make it pop against the imagery. The placement was intentional, creating a dynamic flow that captures attention.

I want my audience to recognize King Von’s significance and feel chills to explore his story and music. This cover is a tribute to his legacy, inviting viewers to appreciate the inspiration he continues to provide.
