My photo features a bear, a balloon, and a Starbucks drink, creating a whimsical and playful scene. Using Adobe Lightroom, I edited the image by enhancing the sky's vibrancy and applying a black-and-white preset with adjusted highlights and shadows.

In this portrait series, I used three distinct lighting techniques to convey different moods

im lighting, back lighting, and 45-degree angle lighting.

Rim Lighting: Positioned above and behind the subject, this technique creates a glowing outline around the figure, giving an angelic and ethereal quality. The light highlights the subject’s edges while leaving the face in shadow, producing a serene and otherworldly effect.

Back Lighting: A direct light source behind the subject creates a dramatic silhouette, casting the subject in shadow and producing a mysterious, intense mood. This setup emphasizes a sense of intrigue and depth.

45-Degree Angle Lighting: Here, the light source is angled at 45 degrees, illuminating the subject with balanced highlights and shadows. This technique highlights the subject’s features, resulting in a serious and contemplative tone.

Each lighting method was chosen to evoke specific emotional responses and character insights, showcasing how light can transform the mood of a portrait.
