For this project, my client, Bevoo, wanted a logo that reflects his African heritage. He requested an outline of Africa with a popular selling Kente pattern. I chose a sans-serif font to keep the design simple and modern, as per his preference. The color scheme of black, green, yellow, and red is inspired by the Kente pattern, symbolizing unity, strength, and prosperity. The logo is a mix of an emblem and text, combining the African outline with the Kente pattern and a clean typeface.

What I want people to notice is that logo design is about understanding the client's vision and taking the time to create something meaningful, not just the final result.

For the North Salinas High School Wellness Center, the goal was to create a logo that reflects both the school’s identity and the center’s sense of community. I chose a simple, clean sans-serif font to keep the design modern and approachable. The colors, Columbia blue and scarlet red, were selected to match the school’s official colors, representing trust, calm, and energy.

The logo is a combination mark, blending text with a graphic element for versatility and recognition. This design balances simplicity with the values of the wellness center, creating an identity that is both professional and welcoming.
